Q: How Does SecretSocieties.com Work?

A: First, we only accept applications from potential members who meet one of the group requirements. (other groups may be added in the future).

Secondly; any approved member will have general access to network with any member within SecretSocieties.com. Exclusive groups will be set up for individuals who only want to network with people who share the same qualifications, but in general the quality of all members will be extremely high.

Q: How Are we Different?

A: First, our screening process is similar to joining an exclusive country club. If you are not prepared to thoroughly prove your credentials please do not apply. We will go out of our way to confirm a candidates qualifications, but if we feel you are wasting our time, we will abandon your application. Our membership fee is very low at $120 per year, and we have no obligation to grant you access if we are not satisfied with your proof. If you are denied membership your first year dues are non refundable. For the people who pretend to be someone they are not, we do approve people quickly, every member is individually screened, and made to thoroughly PROVE they qualify. People who are pretending to qualify will not survive this process. If you truly qualify you need not to worry, your first year dues will be used starting the day we grant you access to the network.

We feel it is worth the time it takes to join a quality network and leave the free-for-all networks to the masses.

Q: How much does it cost?

A: Dues are $120 USD per year. These dues are paid in advance but are not used until we grant you access to the network. If you are denied membership you are charged a $120 one time application fee for our time spent trying to approve you. The result is that we will not refund your first year dues if you are denied membership. 

Q: What are the dues used for?

A: There are many costs incurred to create, host, monitor, and market a network as special as this one. We have a huge time investment to qualify members and keep the network as exclusive as it needs to be. Our options are to charge members or bombard you with unwanted advertising. We feel quality is more important and we hope for an average of $10 a month you agree.

Q: What if I qualify for more than one secret society?

A: We will require proof for induction into every secret society separately. You will not be charged twice.

Q: How will you compete with a myspace.com or friendster.com?

A: At SecretSocieties.com we understand a persons desire to occasionally interact with a large group of random people. That is why we will never replace a mass audience social network. What we offer is a quality network where a person can network with people who display similar qualifications, have achieved high goals, or positions in life. Our system ensures we are never concerned with how much traffic our website gets.

Q: What happens if I am the first person to sign up for a specific society?

A: There will always be a first person for each secret society. If this happens you will have the ability to help us shape that particular group. We may ask you for input given your special insight and you may help us expand that area of our network.

Q: How will SecretSocieties.com employees Interact between the members?

A: All interaction between employees and members will be disclosed. We will always make it clear we are not members, so you can choose what you talk to us about. This will prove a level of trust between employees and members. 

Q: How will the interaction between members happen?

A: This will be an ongoing evolution. Our goal will be to provide an online private social network for all members who qualify for SecretSocieties.com. As the technology changes so will the tools used to accomplish this.  Our Membership helps you benefit as the technology changes because you will not be tied to a specific software platform. We will use all the tools we can find to build better networking while protecting our members privacy.

Q: Is it possible to lose my membership?

A: YES YES YES. We take security, peoples identities, and spam very seriously! Anyone caught sending spam or solicitations to members will lose their membership immediately. Other abuses are judged on a case by case basis. Any member who uses their membership for financial gain will be banned from all member privileges.  We reserve the right to revoke a members access for any reason we feel justifies that action. If your membership is revoked, your dues will not be returned.

Q: Will there be other benefits of membership?

A: YES, we have many benefits planned but they are kept secret from the outside world.
